Our work at Arlekin has always been connected to our roots, culture, and traditions, our immigrant and Jewish identity, and questions of displacement, war, home, and antisemitism. In this heartbreaking moment in our world, there is unfortunately even greater urgency for us to create projects that are public and visible, that center voices which are silenced or misunderstood, and to share stories that create understanding, illuminate different perspectives, and invite audiences to wrestle with challenging ideas.
We invite you to donate to the triptych of Jewish plays we are working on Our Class, The Merchant of Venice, The Dybbuk. These powerful productions are visceral experiences that provoke us, connect us, heal us, and help to humanize us. They are an antidote to hopelessness.
