REPORT ON TRIP TO MOLDOVA 2022

Our new partnership between Arlekin, The Campfire Project & IsraAID sent Arlekin artists to Moldova with actress Jessica Hecht and a team of artists/art therapists to work with refugees.  Thanks to all who donated and supported this project!  

Plans are underway for Arlekin, The Campfire Project and IsraAID will return to Moldova during the 2022-2023 season to again bring arts and connection to mothers and children who have fled the Ukrainian War. We stand with the people of Ukraine.

PREVIOUS INITIATIVES:

Our first initiative, the #ArtistsForUkraine social media campaign, harnessed the power of art to messages of hope, peace and solidarity. With the support of incredible artists across the world, raised critical donations for the humanitarian organization Nova Ukraine.

Our second effort focused on providing shelter for refugees as they journey to the border by supporting two hotels in Dnipro that have been converted into stopping points for fleeing Ukrainians.

Remember Us is a volunteer-led organization based in Needham, MA and Ukraine. Since the start of the war, their primary goal has providing immediate direct help to the most vulnerable in Ukraine – mothers with sick children, low-income families with children, and orphan homes.
